Website www.pralesy.cz intends to bring transparent and overall grasp of Czech natural forests‘ research and monitoring. Complex informations and overview about natural forests’ current distribution and state are also offered for all potential users. For basic data and references searching public is also counted in. Permanent updating of published data is considered for the future.

Web pages are under management of The Silva Tarouca Research Institute for Landscape and Ornamental Gardening, Department of Forest Ecology. Please, visit first the Info - Introduction site for more pleasant reading and correct understanding.

Website should be live system. That’s why all improving suggestions and comments are welcome. Any sources and respondets could be omitted during data preparation and references‘ formation. Now we are ready to append or repair them via your relevant remarks.

We would initiate both web feature services on GIS data layers and English volume in 2009 to finish the 3rd and 4th phases of this website‘s formation.
